What are Braces?
Using metal brackets and wires, braces straighten teeth and deal with extreme overcrowding. They move teeth in very small increments over time, helping to reposition them based on the patient’s specific bite, while also aiming to improve dental health. They are made up of individual brackets that are cemented onto each tooth and accompanied by a wire that constantly asserts gentle pressure on the teeth.
